I am a female artist and have lived on the west coast of British Columbia all my life. I have worked in various media, primarily as a painter, but for the last five years have concentrated on large scale metal relief sculpture, using heavy gauge copper and brass sheets. |
| My work is finely detailed and thoroughly planished so that when completed, the pieces are as impervious to pressure as car metal. It is labour intensive work and consequently a sculpture requires several months to finish. I can make reliefs up to eight feet long and three feet wide out of one sheet of copper or brass. | |
